About Me:

BUILT-RITE is a family owned and operated business that got its roots when in 1981 John Smith decided to switch from fixing up sno-cats to manufacturing home woodsplitters. He created Brute Firewood equipment with great success and in 1987 he started developing processors. After taking a break from the firewood business John created Built-Rite MFG in 1995 with new innovations like the multi-wedge. His son Jeremy Smith is now his Vice president and together they have 45 years of experience building firewood equipment.
