I'm a drummer. Stylistically compared to Carter Beaufort and Danny Carey. My feel leans more toward "edge of your seat" funk. We are never done improving in life or skill so my mission at the moment is less "overplaying". Just because you know "how" to do it, doesn't mean you always "should". That said, I've gone over to playing TRICK PRO V-1 PEDALS and let me just say I find it difficult to restrain myself with what I consider not only the finest pedals on the planet but one of the most important innnovations in the history of the drumming industry. I am neither endorsed nor sponsored by TRICK in any shape fasion or form but I believe in promoting what deserves to be sold. For those in the pedal market....do yourself a favor and take that plunge because I will tell you right now no matter what you may have heard regarding the feel of compression springs, it doesn't matter. This pedal can be MADE TO FEEL LIKE YOUR FAVORITE PEDAL, ONLY FASTER AND SMOOTHER. Yes, it may take time with all the adjustments but if I can convince and eventually convert a Pearl DD player salesman by means of adjustment demonstration, it shouldn't be hard to see the writing on the wall.
Some of the best drummers in this world are the ones you've never heard of............I am not one of them. But I can play so I hope you enjoy.
