Garbage Supervixen Live
Lyrics
Come down to my house Stick a stone in your mouth You can always pull out If you like it too much
Make a whole new religion A falling star that you cannot live without And I'll feed your obsession There'll be nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt
A hit is hard to resist And I never miss I can take you out With just a flick of my wrist
Make a whole new religion A falling star that you cannot live without And I'll feed your obsession There is nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt This thing you'll never doubt
And I'll feed your obsession The falling star that you cannot live without I will be your religion This thing you'll never doubt You're not the only one You're not the only one
Bow down to me, bow down to me Bow down to me, bow down to me Bow down to me, bow down to me Bow down to me

Garbage from Germany in April 1996 performing "Supervixen" on the "Rockpalast" TV show, which has featured almost ever major rock musical act in the world since 1974.
Shirley Manson - lead vocal Steve Marker - guitar Duke Erikson - guitar Butch Vig - drums Daniel Shulman - bass
Garbage was formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1994 by producers and longtime friends Marker, Erikson and Vig. All three had enjoyed success as producers of albums during the new "grunge" movement, especially Vig who had helmed Nirvana's "Nevermind" and the Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream". They recruited Edinburgh, Scotland native Manson, of the band Angelfish and previously Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, to be the lead singer. The band is best known for the hits "Stupid Girl", "#1 Crush", and "I'm Only Happy When It Rains". Manson's sultry voice and seductive lyrics backed by pulsing rock, pop, techno and trip hop beats made the band one of the most mainstream and commercially successful bands born from the alternative rock movement of the early to mid 90's. Their worldwide popularity following the release of their second album, "Version 2.0", in 1998 led them to be tapped to perform the title theme to the 1999 James Bond film "The World Is Not Enough". They have headlined several world tours and also opened for Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt and U2. The band is currently on hiatus after releasing their last album of new material in 2005 and a greatest hits album in 2007. Manson is scheduled to appear as a regular cast member on the FOX TV show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" when it returns for it's second season in September 2008.
