A SATISFIED „YEAHAND A SELF-CONFIDENT GRIN
flits over the faces of producer Matthias Lohmöller and of the band by the end of January 09. Weeks of intensive and hard studio work due to job and studies mainly in part time and in the evening hours - are finally done. The result: 18 killer songs. 12 absolute deadly ones finally made it to our new album. Convince yourself!

STUBBORN, WITH ENORMOUS RIFFS AND WITHOUT ANY COMPROMISES!
After TIGHT PANTS and ACID BLUES, BOOZED deliver with ONE MILE an album that does not only fulfill the greatest expectations but also exceeds them.
Even before production started, every single participant knew: The early praises are all gone, teenager bonus card has already been played. Nevertheless, ONE MILE satisfies and convinces all along the line and moreover sounds more adult than before without losing freshness, power, and juvenile enthusiasm.

The opener, and first single, SAVE MEheads for the right direction: No compromises! Mangy and dangerously, ONE MILE sinks its teeth deeply into the drumhead song by song and thus leaves remaining traces of havoc.

As if theres no tomorrow, BOOZED flog one storm of riffs after the other and just rest for a little while. Self-confident as always, BOOZED link classic elements of RocknRoll with a rusty knife point of Punk and a generous portion of snotty Blues and thus not only confirm that theyre on the right way but already play in first division.

Powerful anthems and crashing solo parts as well as the two first class RocknRoll „ EASY and ASPHALT´S BURNING without any kitsch and/or glamour make ONE MILE a milestone in bands history.

Not at least due to the restrained use of guest instruments and due to a careful use of an impressing female chorus, BOOZED show their affection to detail and therefore their musical qualities!

READY, STEADY, GO: BOOZED 2009.
After a rather average season 2007, some concerts and festivals had to be cancelled, BOOZED separated from guitarist Marvin due to his weak health at beginning 2008. That wasnt easy, as the band members were pretty close friends. But looking back, it seems to be the right decision for the band.

With Nico, we found a substitute quite quick. But of course, there were doubts like lets hope that he lives up to his promiseHe did! After the first couple of shows, we knew that this guys alright!

First highlights like the tours with Peter Pan Speedrock and the honor of supporting Hellacopters at their last tour let us taste fresh blood in 2008! Without any exaggeration we can say: BOOZED 2009 are hotter than ever!

Those who thought BOOZED will burnout and dissapear after their first album get a heap of dirty, sweaty, wild "Acid Blues" puked in front of their feet and will soon discover that the band even improved their qualities.

If it wasn't their last album or their notorious liveshows "Acid Blues" places BOOZED in the same league with Gluecifer, The Turbo A.C.'s, Peter Pan Speedrock, The Hellacopters, Turbonegro and The Flaming Sideburns of which the last three even took the band on their extended Europe-tours with them.

After having played in front of thousands of people in last year's festival-season (Hurricane, Southside, Rheinkultur, Taubertal, etc), Boozed are looking forward to their 2007 tour and numerous festival appearances.
