On April 10, 2010, I hit 100 subscribers. I'd like to thank everyone who gave positive feedback and liked my videos, and especially to my subscribers. To date I have 514 videos, and trust me, there is a lot more to come. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
On September 2, 2010 I hit 200 subscribers. I'd like to thank the academy.
On August 1, 2011, I monetized all of my videos, though I had one or two videos already monetized from a few days earlier. I think this is a great way to earn money from my past work, and I encourage more railfanners to utilize youtube's monetazation. It doesn't just help you make money, but it makes it more likely for your videos to get clicked on and promoted, and will bring more views to all transit videos by people who don't even monetize their videos thus benefitting the whole transit fan community.

i know how it feels. the railfan industry has died down a lot in the past three years and i have put school and friends ahead of trains too. being a theater major, i need to do things like watch movies and live performances periodically. FTR, those "new" videos I upload are just old ones I edited with YouTube video editor and reuploaded because I did not like the original version. My video count will go up to 700 by the end of May, however, since I am taking the 50 videos I have from Yahoo Videos (which is set to close in two weeks), 40 from DailyMotion (which has been horrible lately with cluttering ads, though it still has certain types of videos YouTube would definitely not allow, wink), and 10 related to the Culver viaduct rehabilitation as well as PATH and possibly HLBR and AmTrak. Stayed tuned.
