Welcome to Bulldog Radio Communications. I am Reno "Bulldog" Unit 777 over here in central Maine. I represent one guy that enjoys the hobby enough to make these videos on reviews & tests. There are so many products out there and most of us have to shop online for these.
My old school base is a Cobra 2000 GTL and Magnum Raptor here in the shack! I use Pyramid power supplies for various applications. My favorite mobile microphones are Astatic and Predator Freedom DX-K Mobile Antenna. The Cobra Highgear line of speakers are outstanding.
Many radios, microphones, speakers and antennas out there. What may be the best for one may not be for the other. Matching up the right equipment will take time!
No external amps in my set ups. Enjoy the challenge on what power the radio has to offer. Yes my rigs are tuned for their best performance and long life by qualified techs. Having a well tuned set up is worth its weight in gold!
