@KMPaz4op Buzz Aldrin did !!!! LOL and it got filmed and is on YT somewhere. Though it did have something to Sibrel calling him a coward to his face. Not something I would say to a former F-86 fighter jock with a record of 77 operational Korean war missions in his log book and 2 Mig 15 kills. Sib...

@Baltetsi in a lot of that statement you are talking total rubbish. Yes the Argentine pilots were brave, and were good stick and rudder men, but their skills as military pilots were very lacking. The Bombs didn't explode because they were not dropped correctly, not because of their age. Only the ...

@40fordcoop Bud Rocket may have gone supersonic, but if memory serves, nobody at Edwards actually heard the disticive sound of a sonic boom, except 5 people close to where the car was suppost to have broke Mach 1 (they could have heard localised supersonic shockwaves forming on parts of the car)...

He was displaying at a sea front air show in the UK, quite a distance from the beach. If you want to see some crazy flying over the people within city limits just type in Blue Angles sneak past over sea.

I work at the place where this was filmed, I didn't see the race, but I work with a number of people who did, and they say a number of runs between the Typhoon and the Bugatti. The end of the race was a bit staged as in the real races from a standing start, the Veyron wasn't even close.
Did a number of training sessions for a new peice of kit onboard a number of Royal Navy warships a couple of years back and without doubt the best ship I worked with over the whole period was this one. Very sad to see She's out of service.
