If you live in the snow I agree, definitely get the audi... the 1m is abit of a disappointment...even the new single turbo engine in the 135i sounds a hell of a lot better than the old n54.... the 1 m should have had a small high reving V8 or something...bespoke to the car.

@wever333 I agree... Ive got a supersprint set up on mine, and it sounds unbelievable... I have to say the new n55 single turbo motor, sounds so much better than the old twin turbo...very rorty!

This is depressing man... I hate how cheap cars are in the states...I just got rid of my 335i and got an m3... and had to fork out $170k (AUD) here in Australia.... then I see the same car is under $60k in the US.... I can't stand all the taxes we get hit with.... Good choice though mate!

Both 1/4 mile times seemed slower than the stock cars...The Turbo S is a high 10 second car... and a 2012 GTR will run low 11s....

Did the GTR use Launch control in this instance? I'd have thought 700+ whp would destroy the DCT if you used LC...so you dont use it? plus it didnt seem like violent launch, as the rwd 458 got the jump?

Gustav, I must say, I just got a 2012 GTR...and the topend is substantially better than this old one... I ran an 11.35 @ 126mph out of the box! .... Im deciding whether to tune it, because I know the gearboxes dont take kindly to more power...and here in australia they are so strict with the warr...

How can you be sure of this? Ive heard the F10 will be an 11 second car? ... The F10 should have as much if not more power than the CTS-V...no doubt a quicker gear box and better power down.... so Id be interested to know how you are sure the Caddy is faster?

I dont live in Europe, Im Australian...and here we gut thoroughly ripped off! A 135i as previously mentioned, costs aroun $85-90k AUD...so about $65-70k euros.... and The 335i and 1m are around the $120k mark... naturally, one can spec a 135i up to 1m standards for alot cheaper tha...

I know the whole point of having a 6 speed manual in the GT3 is for driver appeal and enjoyment...but you can clearly see in this race how in each gear the GT3 pulls ahead, and then at the gear change it drops back slightly...if it were a Dual clutch....the GT3 would have been another 10 cars inf...

Put slicks on this car and it will mid 3s to 100km/h and probably 22-23 secs to 300km/h... Serious top end power.... bit pointless for street use as it cant get the power down... while a GTR nissan/porsche turbo are a much better traffic light grand prix car :)

Ah, I dont think so...It might sound better and look nicer....but it will get its ass royally kicked from a standing start....might be a good race if youve got a dinan bored 5.7 litre M5 - from a rolling start that is....

Its pretty weak that the cayman with more power ( on paper atleast) can barely pull on a 335ci... ( which weighs like 1750kg) ... hardly impressive.... Its clear that the car in the race is a 335ci ( you can hear its whooshing twin turbo 6 soundtrack) , while the car videoed after the race is obv...

I have to say even though this is basically cask strength...its still much smoother than the 10 year old...which I reckon is alittle rough...I have to say the Uigeadail is the most impressive islay whisky...Corryvreckan is rough like the 10, the Supernova is great...just overpriced...but between ...
