Actually I'm quite sure this the Prélude from Young's Baroque Sonata rather than a Toccata from the Baroque Suite, which makes a difference since there IS also a Baroque Suite written by Young. If it was named properly it might be easier to find. Too bad you missed the right pedal once. Would not...

Is there any way to get hold of the sheets? I am also looking for his arrangement of Ode to Joy, but it's frickin hard to find...

Erinnert stark an die Toccata von Albert Renaud in d-Moll, finde ich. Mit welchem Mikrofon wurde aufgenommen? Die Aufnahme klingt extrem gut, das Stück ist ohnehin klasse und macht was her. Schade nur, dass die Noten vergleichsweise schwer zu bekommen sind, hätte bessere Zugänglichkeit durchau...

This offertoire strongly remindes me of Albert Renauds Toccata in d-minor; both harmony and character seem quite alike to me.

Is it only me or does anybody else see Clint Eastwood there, sitting on the organ when Guillou is filmed from the left?

I think i haven't ever seen her hands move so slowely and tenderly. Really intense interpretation. It's good to see and hear her play a slow piece once in a while :-)

It's quite interesting to hear the way he has to pull back the pace he heads right into the last part with, starting at 1:37... I'd go to hell and back just to hear this in Notre Dame in person...

Insgesamt eine der besten Interpretationen von diesem Dreteiler auf yt! Leider wird das Stück oft zu zaghaft registriert und fast langeweilig gespielt, was dem so fröhlichen und unbeschwerten Charakter nicht gerecht wird.

Meines Erachtens hätte dem Praeludium ob des Halls noch etwas mehr Absetze...

If you like this, you definitely should listen to "Hommage to Handel" written by Sigfrid Karg-Elert for organ. It takes whole 14 minutes, but it's worth every single second.

Just take the time, there's no way you will be disappointed I'd say.
