The jeep does 30-40 mph comfortably but up to 58 just to pass. I did a 1 3/4 " lift and it rides like a lifted YJ wrangler I think, (1987-1995 wrangler). So I can do any speed on a main road with one hand. Back roads it's 2 hands. It took me 7 years and I rebuilt everything. Approx $11,000.00 not including my costs of welding or wrench turning. If you are a ok machanic and you can weld you can expect the same. The jeep is a very simple project. Join www.thecj2apage.com

Hi, the insurance on my Willys is $60.00 a year. I'm with state farm and have full coverage . I have current md tags but keep them in the jeep. Im using a orig 1945 Maryland tag that is reg historic.
