Thank you BBC for everything, for all the positive emotions I've experienced while watching TV. No adverts means no interruption to anything, which is great, and I shall say that every penny of the TV license is worth it.

When will the BBC learn that paying men like Ross £6m a year - and feeding the celebrity cancer cult that is engulfing the media in Britain - fundamentally represents an abuse of public money. A Lieutenant-Colonel died in Afghanistan yesterday - that man was worth a thousand Jonathan Ross's - but will his family, or any of the other men who have died in service of their country ever receive a fraction of the public money that this worthless media slag receives?
