Baxter House is a Punk/Soul band from Echo Park, LA, CA. They were founded in mid 2005 when Rachel Mintz, Sky Minor and Malik Williams were roomates in a house on Baxter street. One day the house caught on fire due to elecrical shorts. This cataclysmic event inspired the trio to form a band and Baxter House was born. Baxter House is a new very original brand of dynamic and unpredictable music in contrast to the droning, monotone sound that many bands are perpetrating. Their official site is www.baxter-house.com.
