Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1971, and one of the most commercially successful musical acts of all time. The group originally consisted of Freddie Mercury, (lead vocals), Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals). Queen's initial works were chiefly glam rock, heavy metal and progressive rock orientated, however with time the band incorporated diverse and innovative styles in their music, exploring the likes of vaudeville, electronic music and funk. The band digressed from using progressive themes in their music in the mid-1970s, with more conventional and radio-friendly works bringing them greater success. Throughout the 1970s, Queen disclosed the absence of synthesisers on their albums, yet their style continued to evolve. They eventually started using synthesisers in the 1980s, reflecting their experimental approach to music.
Queen Rock Montreal is a live album by English band Queen. It was released in 2007 as a double CD / triple vinyl on 28 October in Australia, 29 October in Europe, and 30 October in the US.
It was recorded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada at the Montreal Forum on 24 November and 25 November 1981, ten years to the date before lead singer Freddie Mercury died of complications related to AIDS.
This marks the first official release of the film soundtrack to the concert film We Will Rock You on an audio-only format.
"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is a song performed by the English rock band Queen, written by singer Freddie Mercury. While it peaked at number two in the UK, it hit number one on the U.S. charts on February 23, 1980, remaining there for four consecutive weeks. It topped the charts in Australia for six weeks.

I just got my studio up and running and I decided to christen it with a fun project. This is my recording of one of my favorite songs, ABC by the Jackson 5. This is a tribute to the fantastic writers, producers, and performers on the original record.
Here's some quick tech info for anyone interested:
I used the Roland TD-6 as a controller only. The drum sounds you're hearing are coming from FXPansion's BFD2 software. Those drum samples were triggered by my hitting the pads.
The fuzz guitar effect is from the Line 6 Pod Farm plug in. The other guitars are running through Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4. The bass is direct. The Piano comes from the Miroslav Philharmonik Library.
I did a lot of hard stere panning to get this to sound close to the original, so if one of your speakers is off or broken, you will only hear half the song.

The news hit me like a punch in the stomach. Its the first time that the death of a person I never met, never even saw in person affected me so deeply. I dont know who he was or what he was really like, but I do know that Michael Jacksons music haunted me from the first moment I heard it. The very first pop song I ever remember hearing was Thriller. It scared me to death, but I wanted to hear it again and again anyway.
He is gone. There will never be another like him. But his music remains. To say goodbye, I wanted to give something back. I know that it doesnt come near to what he did, but this was my expression of grief. I listened to his arrangement of Billie Jean and sang every instrument from the percussion to the lead vocals, putting an octave effect on the voices like the bass and bass drum that were too deep for me to sing. Michael was an absolutely amazing arranger, and doing this farewell made me even more intensely aware of our loss Its only an echo of him, but as a singer, using my voice was the most personal way I could honor his music.
He once said that he surrounded himself with art because he enjoyed what people created with their hands, so I sketched some portraits. Chris animated them, did the dramaturgy for the video and mixed the track with Gordon Raphael to make our tribute to Mr. Jacksons work complete.
Michael, this is for you. Thank you for all you gave us.
