About this user

I'm Irish, Japanese, and German. What a combination huh? I am finally at a place in my life where I am comfortable with who I am (not satisfied with myself completely, but comfortable). I have three beautiful and intelligent children (two girls and one boy), three cats, two dogs, a bird, and lots of fish (tropical and gold). I also have a wonderfully sweet and caring husband from India. I'm a very quiet person, I prefer to listen vs. speaking. I usually only speak out of necessity and when I have something important to say / share. My goal is to one day have my own bed and breakfast somewhere in the middle of a deep forest or by the sea. I LOVE to travel. I have been to Mexico, Japan, Turkey, Thailand, England, Germany & India. On my list of places to see are: Egypt, Jordan, Greece, Italy, Morocco and China.

I like to travel, cook, quilt, embroider, cross-stitch, crochet, sew and paint. I collect ephemera (mostly postcards) and middle eastern / east asian antiques. I like to make collages. I find things such as shiny rocks, old marbles, shells, stamps, business cards, broken costume jewelry, beads, etc and I make collages by glueing everything to a canvas. When I can find the time I like to read and I like to go fishing. I enjoy cooking, especially international cuisine.
