About this user
Founded in 1937 in Gestappnovil Poland, Awkward Silence has led quite the life before embracing the world of sketch comedy. In the 50's they helped rid India of hunger by introducing farming communities in the region to the wonders of electricity. Now local farmers could cut crops at twice the speed using machines. After accepting their Nobel Prize for the aforementioned achievement in 1968, they retreated to the back alleys of Calcutta where they worked as Nuns. For years they toiled amongst the poor, giving medicine and healing to those in need. Tragically, their assasination in 1995 was overshadowed in the media by that of Princess Diana.
