About this user
I am an independently rich with many friends. I am a person who enjoys people!
My grandchildren make me happy. All four of them live close. I welcome their visits any time.
I met my husband in 1970 at the Framingham Post Office. We married in October 1972. Yes, add it up...35 years of wedded bliss.
We see each other constantly at work. He does have more seniority then me. He is in his forty first year working for the post office. I am in my nineteenth year as a letter carrier. I enjoy working outside in most weather.
The people I meet can be hilarious, challenging, and loving. I have had four routes in my career. Now that I am limited duty I bounce around on different apartment routes. I could show up hours earlier than the regular letter carrier would get to the apartments. I could show up later. I get told that I am early, I am late, I am a woman! I know that!
Some people think we are mind readers and though in an office for the first time, know where the outgoing mail is placed, and who signs for the mail that needs to be signed.
Some office workers chose to ignore the letter carrier who only wants a signature in order to leave the parcel! Why?
More drivers think it is okay to cut people off, dart out into traffic, and disobey traffic signals...just my observation as a driver. I am out there daily seeing all sorts of traffic problems. Like the woman who was reading as she drove along...coming towards me...did she not know that you need to PAY ATTENTION if driving?
