Atlantic Street Center focuses on helping children of all ages to flourish academically, emotionally and socially in the present, while helping them develop the skills and strengths they need to become successful, productive adults. We also serve the family by providing a variety of services to parents and other family members.

Specific services include early literacy services for young children and their parents; youth tutoring and summer school; social and leadership skills development for teens and pre-teens; parenting classes and support groups for parents of all ages; life skills classes for adults; and mental health counseling for children and families.

We direct our resources toward low-income children and youth of color in Seattles central and southeast neighborhoods. Each year, our direct service staff serves more than 3,000 youth and their family members. All services are free to participants. Costs are met through grants and donations.
