Thank you for visiting my piano channel. Here you'll find HD piano videos filmed from an overhead perspective. I mostly play Final Fantasy music, but other videogame and movie soundtracks as well as the occasional Chopin.
I want to share my music and enable others players to do the same. I provide sheet music and help for all the songs I play. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Hope you enjoy my vids and if you do, please SUBSCRIBE. :)

~~FAQ~~
Please submit any request for a song or a tutorial as a channel comment. I take all requests into consideration, but it may take a longer time until I play it / make a tutorial on that or I won't play it at all, if I dislike the song.
I started playing the piano in May 1999. I have been taking lessons ever since.
I play a classical Yamaha Piano. It's the best piano in the world.
I film my videos twice. The audio recording happens when I film the keys. Then I film the hammers seperately and later I put the footage from both videos into one splitscreen video.
My cam is a Canon 550D / Rebel T2i DSLR. I use a microphone tripod to set up the camera over my head.
My main mics are an AKG Perception 220 and a Rode M3, which I use with a TASCAM US122 MKII USB interface.
I use Adobe Premiere for editing.
I own all the FF Piano Collection sheet books. You can buy them on squaresound(.)com, or a lot cheaper on eBay. For non FF music, I simply google.
~~Difficulty estimations~~
very easy: If you're a little into piano playing, you'll be able to play this piece with little effort.
easy: You should have been playing the piano for some time and have only minor difficulties with those if you practise regularly.
medium: This will take some time and there are certain techniques necessary that you will only know if you've already been playing for at least some years.
hard: You'll face several weeks of intense practicing and some passages are a real challenge even if you've already been playing the piano for more than 5 years.
very hard: This piece is a real bitch, which will take you several months and cause a lot frustration even if you've been playing the piano regularly for at least 8 years.
insane: After a year or so you'll find yourself crying in a corner with your life in ruins. No, seriously, it'll f**k you up.
Of course, those are only estimations and do not necessarily apply to every hobby piano player out there. It's just an orientation of what you're facing if you want to learn this piece.
