Tim Shaw

Easy now me little Chickons.

Welcome to, what I think might be fair to say, is the official YouTube home of Tim Shaw. As far as I know it's the only place on the World Wide Web that has this level of Tim Shaw audio [I'm open to being proven otherwise].

I have been a fan of the liberator of UK Radio since the 1990s when he hit the airwaves on Birmingham's BRMB doing late night phone in show Tim's Confessions.

Since then Tim has had a varied career on both radio and TV. I think however his greatest success came with [what for me anyway remains the greatest radio show in broadcasting history] Tim Shaw's Asylum.

From 2004-2007 it was the most listened to late night radio show in the UK and still has a very big cult following.

The show came to a natural end in 2007 when Tim moved to the Breakfast time slot and was then betrayed by Kerrang radio and fired. In 2008 Tim signed up with Absolute radio and for a whole year [once again] was the most listened to late night radio show. In 2009 Tim voluntarily left Absolute radio to oversee other projects.

He returned to radio [back on his old station BRMB] to present the weekend show Tim Shaw's Rehab. The show ran from Jan 15th- Jun 3rd 2010. To date its Tim's last radio show.

Since then he has hosted his own chat show on Current TV, simply titled Tim Shaw.

I keep the faith that one day soon Tim will be back on air, booming out of my radio once again.
