An amateur drummer, interpreting progressive rock songs for the fun of it... ;)
About Me:
My drumkit is a Tama Starclassic Performer with birch shells done in a nice indigo blue finish (Toms: 8,10,12,13,14,15,16, BD:22x18, Snares: 14 x 5.5, 12 x 3.5). I also have a Roland V-drums Session set, arranged as a back kit, and a Roland SPD-20 and several other electronic pads distributed on the acoustic side. My actual set of cymbals is the 2112 Sabian Paragon set, limited edition of 30 around the world. I have all kind of other gadgets too, namely wind chimes, temple blocks, cowbells, triangles, jingles, etc. More, always more! Since many have asked: The total cost of the kit is estimated at around $18K. To enter in the center of the kit, I move one of the rack arms of the electronic set, which is kept a bit loose... ;)
A diagram and pictures of my current setup are available there:

I have also a Facebook account (link above). I welcome friend requests but you have to let me know that it's because you watch the videos... ;)
My list of favorite drummers is extremely long but here's some: Neil Peart, Mark Zonder, Danny Carey, Mike Portnoy, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, John Bonham, Gavin Harrison, Stewart Copeland, Billy Cobham, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Dave Weckl, Simon Phillips, Nick D'Virgilio, Scott Rockenfield, etc.
NEWS (11/11/11): Hello all! Not much to report here... I'm trying to produce new videos from time to time. My back is feeling much better and I've started an intense exercising program to lose some pounds and gain more muscles! Playing is becoming easier... and louder! ;) I got Neil's new DVD (a must!) and I can't wait for the new Rush CD next spring! Thank you all for watching!
Influences:
Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, etc.

would like to say, Outstanding drumming!! Neil would proud and honored!!! With you playing some of the early, and in my opinion, some of neils best work, Tunes, I would love to see you play BY TOR off of fly by night, or anything off of caress of steel!! Love all of the early stuff and I'm sure you do to. Keep up the great video's and again "Hats off " to you and your drumming!!!!!!!

Wow! I love your videos & your attention to detail covering Neil, you are amazing. I'm 2 years older than you and have only been playing for a few years. I plan on using your videos to teach me the Rush songs you have so generously figured out & shared here on YT.

I've got to say, (and this is a mighty compliment).... no one will ever be as good as Neil Peart, but you've come closer than anyone I've ever seen. Keep it up man...... Rush on!
