Todays' Assyrians are Chaldeans, Some of the Chaldeans that didnt become Catholics and remained under the Old Eastern Church were given the name"Assyrian" recently by the Anglicans about couple of 100years ago in order to have an opasition against the Catholics. so todays' "Assyrian" name is maily religious term they are ETNICALLY CHALDEANS. read what happened to the ancient Assyrians.
