Protip for making gentle reentries that don't yank your parachute off: The most fuel-economic way to initiate the reentry, is to wait for the ship to arrive at the apogee marker ("Ap"), orient it with the back end in the direction of flight, and then thrust to lower the periapsis marker ("Pe").

Tip: Use struts (found under the "Structural & Aerodynamics" tab) to "bind" the columns of tanks and boosters together, so they don't "fling out" and cause your rocket to spin before tearing itself apart.

Man kan få en masse "ekstrapakker" (addons), der giver flere forskellige dimser at vælge mellem, når man bygger sin raket. Bruger (endnu) ikke selv nogen addons, men den eneste alvorlige mangel ved det "dimse-sortiment" som spillet leveres med, er at der ikke er nogen "ben" til den del af rumfart...

Husk ALTID faldskærm plus en "stack decoupler" (den der skille-ad-ting du føjede til TE3'eren) som det første lige under rumkapslen.

Det der gik galt for TE3 var, at det der mørkegrå "super SAS module" eksploderede da det ramte jordoverfladen. Havde decoupleren også skilt SAS-modulet fra før lan...

Nah, this is just the same phenomenon as with helicopters: Strictly speaking, they can't really fly, but they're so ugly the Earth/Kerbin exerts a natural repulsive force against them -- just enough to allow them to lift off. :-P

A little tip: When building your rocket, there's a funny little round thing with a yellow dot near the top of the screen, a tad left of center: Try clicking it, so it shows something other than the little dot, and then stick e.g. a solid-fuelled booster onto the side of your rocket.
