I've been dealing with Ulcerative Colitis for almost 11 years. I've had 6 surgeries, as well as so many procedures I can't even begin to count. 4 of the surgeries comprised of slicing me down the middle and eventually removing everything except a tiny remainder of my small intestine. I'm in the small 5% of people who get Ulcerative Colitis so bad it is considered refractive (doesn't stop), and doesn't respond to medication. I now have a permanent Ileostomy, which is my 3rd, and interestingly have had one on both my right and left sides at different times. I also no longer have a rectum, large intestine, colon and so many other "infected and disintegrated" organs.

I'm dealing with it the best way I know how, reaching out and making videos to both help and encourage others. If I can have it this bad and only help one other person, I will feel like I made even the slightest difference. I thank everyone who have commented, rated or subscribed to my videos for their support. It means more than words can say to know there are so many others out there going through the same or similar circumstances.
