I think every album these guys put out is epic. I dont know what people are talking about. STS is one of the few bands that simply can't release a bad album.

These hours of despair is the best song off the album IMO. This song is good also though.

The is quite simply one of the greatest songs I have ever heard.

I dub thee Sir Swallow the Sun, the greatest underground doom metal band in existance that nobody knows. Even Michael Akerfelt raises his eyebrows when he hears the butal and well written songs that comes from these guys.

I dunno, I think they nailed this song. Its also one of the more complex songs they do guitar wise. The quality is a little poor, but it still sounds amazing.

True, Ensiferum is boss. However, I would try the band: Equilibrium, album: Sagas. Quite possible the best folk metal album I have ever heard.

The key is different, and so is the tempo and the feel. The progression is remotely similar, but Im surprised that you even noticed. However, im not surprised if Pete did slightly mimic a Beatles song considering they were Peter's greatest influence.
