I am an adult woman who recently discovered I have Asperger's. I wanted to share poetry I have written during very difficult times as a teen and young adult. During this time I often wondered why I was so different, as my social deficits caused me great isolation, and overwhelming depression.

I have a feeling there are a giant number of undiagnosed individuals with Aspergers, stumbling blindly through life as I had for 32 years.

Being a naive teenage girl, who trusted everyone, yet never belonged, was a very painful existence.
