Having aspergers does come with challenges in life but it also gives us advantages over "normal" people. If it were a disorder that advantages wouldn't exist. So, it's not a disorder it's just a different design for the human brain.

PLEASE ask Greg or I before you use our photos. The boy in the first pic, isn't autistic he has a drug dependency due to being homeless in the slums of Brazil. You need to be VERY careful where you post these photos due to safety of the children, many of them owe debts to drug dealers. As much as I love the video, and I have aspergers myself I will need to flag it for copyright reasons. Normally I wouldn't care but this child is in a very precarious situation.

hello... my baby is 4 years old and has aspergers. i don not know how to treat him, how to dicipline, i do not know anithyng i feel like a terrible mother beacause i do not know if i am doing it right . im trying to learn a lot about it. ( he drivres me crazy))) but he is very sweet.. one thing i do not understand is the kids with autism do not like to be touch and my son loves to be held, love to cuddle, loves to hug etc. why the diference?? how do i dicipline ? he is super smart and seem he understand everything but wants everithyng his way unless i act like im crying and this will work because he hates to see me sad.
