Where do I begin.......
Got married when I was 18 and he was 22. We're still married today, in fact we just celebrated our Silver Anniversary (that's 25 years folks).

Looking back...we were just KIDS! Love will Blind you that's for sure! Check out my 3 part video montage of those years.

We traveled around, lived in Anchorage, Juneau, Spokane, Bellingham and back to Juneau. Of course with my job I traveled even more...of which I plan for it to be my new job--"A Professional Tourist"

Anyway, I proudly joined the Air Force about 6 months after we were married, basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas. Being from Alaska....I have to default to Texas as they truly do have the biggest sky...you really do feel like you can reach out and touch the stars! But my gawd it is HOT!!! Too hot for this Alaskan. Continued onto Keesler AFB, Biloxi Mississippi for training Admin Spec. Thought I'd see the world....my first station??!! Can you believe it...back to Spokane. But that's alright, I'm proud to say that I was ready to defend my country as my father, brother, uncles, father-in-law and husband. I was the only woman in the family to join the military. Now don't get me wrong, I would support my children but I would also be deathly afraid...afterall I am a mother.

The kids didn't come until I was 32 (son) and 36 (daughter) almost too old some might say. They are beautiful (more pic/video's later) and I'm blessed everyday that they chose me.

My only regret with the children??.....I didn't get to stay at home with them until last year. It pained my heart to have another person see their first's. Although you find the BEST of the BEST...those are years you don't get back. That is why I am commited to working from home.

The entreprenuer in me has never gone away. I began my first business when I was six (6) yrs old. I'm not kidding....if you follow me...you probably are the same.

I had my kool aid stand (lemons were too expensive); sold gum buy the piece; toy sales and living in a tourist town...sold dandelions and "fools" gold (pyrite).

I tried had my own Sonic Blind Cleaning Business, it was good but Oh MAN did it stink! Literally. Then the birth of "infomercials" we'll you guessed it...I tried that too. I've sold the "lotions & potions", jewelry, MLM and Network Marketing.

If I only knew then.....

But that has not discouraged me...I've learned from all those things in the garage :)

I'm a person that is approachable, honest and don't like getting cheated, straight from the heart and will tell you like it is. I fight for the underdog and like to help them get a fair deal.

I'm tired of being not taken seriously just by the location of where I live---Alaska. When we order from the catalog or online...for pete's sake were treated like another country! Do we have UPS....yeah the dogsled is just little faster. Okay..I'm off track.

Back to the contest.....
