You'd probably find me on stage at a festival or a coffee shop somewhere because I love to perform...
I perform songs I write..
My influence is life.
I am fascinated with social interaction and the way we treat eachother so i've found it comes naturally when i write songs about that.
I also sing.. and I taught myself how to play guitar and the banjo.
I have been playing shows, playing guitar, expirmenting with engineers in recording studios for a little over a year now. But in the fall of 2010 I found my niche. I met and began working with producer Jon Clarke and we began producing my music.
To me, lyrics are the most important part of writting a song. I like my songs to tell mini-stories. My songs are all personal and based on real situations.
The wonderful online world for muscians is something I have just recently discovered. I have 5 cover videos posted on youtube and i'm blown away with how sweet people have been to me. the sweet comments, people suscribing, the kind words of encouragement..it makes my day, and i can't thank you guys enough.
My single, titled "Stupid Boy" (a song about being in love with someone but being afriad to admit it to yourself) is making its debut on iTunes on July 11th 2011. Followed by the release of my 5-track e.p. titled "It's Very Personal" making its debut later this summer.
My plans for the future?
Hmm..defintely doing this. I can't go a day without writting music. I'd like to increase me "fan base" and get my music heard and out there.
