My name is Ashley Lopez, (Aka: ASHLEY ROSE) I have been singing since I was twelve years old and I probably would not have known I could if it was not for my Uncle Johnny (RIP) who pointed it out to my mother. He told me that I could go far in life with my voice. By the age of twelve, I was taking vocal lesson with a local vocal coach in town. Before my Uncle had even mentioned that I should follow this path I had already been very loyal to singing theme songs from different movies, mostly those with happy conclusions. I would always jump up and start dancing and singing to the ending and just performing for my parents. My parents just thought I was the energizing bunny, dancing and singing around the house completely entertaining myself with it, I love music!

My abilities to use my vocals improved more and more as I practiced, in which my mom would have me doing several hours a day. She kept me going and I love her for that, for seeing something in me that most just thought was annoying. I would not be where I am today with out her. I ran in the Miss Yucaipa Pageant in my hometown and won, part of that was to be able to run in the Nationals Pageant during my reign, the Nationals had a music talent long with modeling so I chose to do both. I admit that singing for the first time in front of a live audience made me very nervous. However, the adrenaline that rushed through after was so exciting! The best part is it does not seem to matter how scared or tired I may be you turn on the music and I just become that energized person that wants to make music.

At the age of 14 years old, I started doing background work for Nickelodeon, like iCarly and now their new show Victorious. I also co hosted a work out video for teens, fit-teen-inc.com. I have been on audition after audition for commercials not always getting the part but every time learning and bettering myself for the next one because I know that the competition is hard and the more I work at it the better I get. Giving up on my dreams to be the next triple threat is not an option because I do not believe in giving up on my passion and the goals I have set for myself.

At age 16, I have co-written my first single "Over You." I have also just released the music video for "over you," Every one who was in it did a wonderful job and I want to send out a personal thank you to all of you.
