As If Thinking Matters

This site demonstrates human potential if we would just apply thinking.

With regard to living life, consider that we are all born on the starting line of life with blank mental slates. Then each of us has our mind filled in by parents, schools, peers, and experts. The result is a society stuffed with given beliefs, none of which we own, and most of which are wrong.
With regard to understanding our purpose and place in the universe, nothing could be more fundamental than the questions of: Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? Nothing could be more true than the fact that virtually no one has answers they can rationally defend.

Experts in religion, philosophy, and science have reached no consensus in spite of thousands of years of trying. So the average person either latches onto some convenient and attractive belief propped up with desire, hope, and faith, or gives up and ignores the topics altogether.
