A new, heavily edited Tribute Video for Placebo's very dark, introspect and cautionary track "In The Cold Light Of Morning", originally from their classic 2006 album "Meds".
As with most of Placebo's darker tracks, they all carry a message behind them. For me, this song is a dark tale of self-destruction, desolation and loneliness, which everyone feels at some point in their life. This is one of Placebo's most intense and personal songs.
I already created a video for this track a while ago but I felt the time was good to re-do a Tribute for this track, with my visions of what this song represents. Starkness and the sharp reality of waking up alone, and realising that if things do not change, life will turn bad. I hope this creation is ok for you. It's more of an interpretation, following the song's content and lyrics, featuring some additional footage from another video. Please enjoy, rate, comment and as with all of my Placebo creations, please feel free to add them to external Placebo fansites if you want to.

Placebo's most beautiful instrumental piece. Originally from the B Side of "Pure Morning" & also appearing on their 2 disc album "Placebo: B Sides 1996-2006", the haunting, soulful and dreamlike track "Innocence of Sleep". This displays Placebo's outstanding range for creating slow & emotional mellow pieces, alongside their fast paced musical style.
This is a new Tribute Video, with a new version at the end. I already have another "Innocence of Sleep" Tribute in my Placebo Tribute playlist, but this one, features part of a special version of the track, overlaid with a narration of thoughts from Brian Molko. As with my other Tribute for this track, I wanted to try and achieve a very mellow, trancy dreamlike mood. This is one which is intended to relax and trance-out to.
I hope this is ok for you. This is a dedication to all of my regular Placebo friends near and far, and a thank you to everyone who has commented on the Tributes which I attempt to create. Thank you.
