My wife and I work, own, and live at StoneCreek Ranch Resort in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. We started this business to give people the opportunity to ride well-trained horses in a beautiful setting where they could stay in extremely nice lodgings with a rustic feel. As our business grew, more people turned to me for guidance in dealing with their own horse's behavior. This whole Arvell Bass/horse clinician thing just sort of took off as I started conducting clinics here at StoneCreek and helping people understand and treat their horses from the horse's perspective.

All of my clinics stem from that core philosophy -- listen and watch your horse closely -- it's telling you all of its secrets, all of its fears, and giving you tons of clues along the way. I guess what I do best is helping people recognize and address those cues when they happen in order to make real and lasting changes in their horse's behavior.
