Seo-young was born in Seoul, Korea.
She started piano lessons at the age of four and started violin lesson at the age of eight.
At 12, she entered into the PBC Boys&Girls Chorus.
And she entered Sunhwa Arts School in Korea. She majored a vocal music and she started composing and arranging then. During her studies at Sunhwa Arts School, she has won the 'Nan-pa, Hong Music Competition' and etc.
After studying in Sunhwa Arts School, She entered into Korea Music Genius Academy and majored composition. She won the 1st prize from compositon competiton in Korea.
At 17, she introduced her 'The Fantasie Variations of the theme of musicla numbers', 'Sonata for Piano Quintet' to the audiences and composed all the musical numbers, written the scenario, tought players musical numbers and acted in the musical 'The 10th English Competiton'.
