Motorcycle Tips for Short Bikers

I'm short - under 5 feet. Unfortunately, this limits my options as a biker. The learning curve when you can't successfully reach controls or straddle your bike flatfoot is steeper than it is for taller bikers. I am attempting to round up a few resources that will help other shorties.
