FACT: Steve Perry's first band Alien Project was unsuccessful. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, doesn't count.

FACT: Herbie hired Perry to replace Fleischman. Herbie notified the band of Perry's replacement while fleischman was away. Fleischman was fired unexpectedly. The underhandedness was hard for the original members to accept. No wonder Perry never felt like he was part of the band.

FACT: in 1986 Perry had original members Steve Smith and Ross Valory fired for control over the band. This was the RAISED ON RADIO TOUR were Perry was unable or unwilling to remain actively involved, forcing the band to canceled the rest of the tour

FACT: Perry's only solo contribution to the band was "Lovin, Touchin, Sqeezin" In which he took Sam Cookes Melody and even some of the lyrics from " Nothing can change this love"

FACT: Jonathan Cain began "Open Arms" when he was with the Babies. Perry only helped him finish it. But of course, his fans think HE did all the work.

FACT: Perry made his return to the band in 1996 for Trial by Fire conditional. Only if Herbie was fired . Way to pay the guy back for making you famous ASSHOLE.

FACT: Perry's first solo album Street Talk ranked 12, 2X's Platnum. Perry's second solo album only went Gold. Perry cut the tour short HE'S NOTHIN" WITHOUT JOURNEY!

FACT: After recording "Trial by Fire" Perry was told he needed hip surgery by a DOCTOR, That is, a medical professional ! The band waited ONE FULL year for Perry to give a time when he would be ready to tour but he pushed the band aside once again CUZ HE'S SO FCkN IMPORTANT, leaving Journey with no other option then to go on without him. He recieved the surgery one year later. And Journey moved on successfully WITHOUT him.

FACT: Perry hired Lincoln Brewster, a Neal Schon-like featured on the album and during the tour. GEE Think he felt he needed that JOURNEY magic?

FACT: Perry only wrote one song from "Street Talk" Harmony, EVER HEARD OF IT? Yea, ME NEITHER!

FACT: Few ridiculed Steve Augeri when he replaced Steve Perry except for his presence at the Hollywood walk of fame.

FACT: The difficulty of fans accepting Arnel Pineda was discribed by Paul Liberatore AS "an undercurrent of racism." Keyboardist Jonathan Cain responded to such sentiments: "We've become a world band. We're international now. We're not about one color.

FACT: Arnel pineda was the lead singer of a band as young as 15 yrs of age.

FACT: Arnels band AMOS opened for Robert palmer in 1989

FACT: 1990, Pineda and other members of Amo formed another band called Intensity Five and once again entered the Yamaha World Band Explosion. Pineda won the Best Vocalist award and the band came in as first runner up.

FACT: 1999 Warner brothers record label created Arnels first solo album Arnel Pineda. Off that record Arnel wrote Iiyak Ka Rin (You Will Cry Too) which was very successful.
