Check out Poison Idea if you are adventuresom. They were and are goood friends of mine and have traveled the world. Played at CBGB's before it closed. Went to Japan, Australia, Europe, Eastern Europe, Spain, etc. Tom Roberts, aka Pig Champion, was a great friend and roommate. Tom was Kurt Cobains's idol. In fact he picked Poison Idea to front Nirvana on their show here in Portland at the No on Nine concert. He gave Tom a bottle of booze before the show. In an interview after the show, he mentioned the band as a major influence. It was cool.
