Movie reviews from two "critics" who are not pretentious douchebags. What a concept!
About Me:

Real reviews from real filmmakers. Crandall and Mercy are two independent filmmakers who bring their love of writing/directing to the table to review the latest movies on blu-ray. No pretentious snobbery, just an honest look at movies from two people with a passion for filmmaking. Crandall and Mercy will let you know the 'best part/worst part' of a movie and help you decide if it's worth your time and hard earned cash. For down to Earth reviews from people who know, you've come to the right place.

Worst of 2011: Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives- Most boring film since Ulysse's Gaze (1997). The slow pacing is deadly. And this is coming from a film fan who liked Godard's Film Socialisme.

Best of 2011: Moneyball-Loved Brad Pitt's performance. Inspirational.

I watched the trailer of the new Queen Latifah movie Joyful Noice, and my first thought was :- Armchair Directors have to do a review of this one :) Maybe because i would love to hear what you guys think of gospel drama comedy movies, there are not many out there lately.

You guys are awesome. But which sequels are you excited for?

2012 is another big sequel year.

Part twos: Expendables 2, Breaking Dawn: Pt 2, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Wrath of the Titans

Part threes: Men in Black 3, Madagascar 3, The Dark Knight Rises

Part fours: Ice Age: Continental Drift, Underworld: Awakening, Breaking Dawn: Pt 2 (if you count it as 4th in twilight series), The Bourne Legacy.

Other sequels/franchise additions: Skyfall (James Bond after Quantum of Solace), Resident Evil: Retribution, The Amazing Spider-Man, American Reunion (American Pie series)

For sure, hopefully in this coming season. I was thinking about doing a trilogy of similar "digital reality" movies, like The Matrix, 13th Floor and eXistenz.

Mmmmm i agree, how about reviewing the first movie?

Loved the Matrix, but really hated parts 2 and 3. Probably won't be getting to the whole trilogy anytime soon. :) ~Mercy
