FALL AND REDEMPTION OF SEMPER GAMES
What was Semper Games aiming to be, at its origin? Well, Semper Games is, in theory, a religion that aims to improve oneself through a rigorous, nonstop schedule of prayer, drinking game fuel, and most importantly, gaming. This is all in hopes of achieving the state of Semper Gaming, an eternal, never-ending "flow" (a psychology term that describes a mental state in which a person is fully immersed in what he or she is doing) that grants superhuman gaming skills.
What is Semper Games now? A horde of idiots spamming hateful and lying comments about games they dont like! It is common knowledge that so-called Semper Gamers, such as Danube03 and MugiwaraNoSlime, have been trolling Touhou videos! Is Touhou an obstacle to Semper Gaming? No, no, a thousand times no! A full immersion into Touhou, in the midst of colorful danmaku and epic music, is in fact one of the best ways to reach Semper Gaming! Trolling Touhou in the name of Semper Games is an utter aberration, complete nonsense!
How is this possible, I ask? Friends, how could a potentially good concept have gone so horribly WRONG?
The answer is simple: the movement has, alas, been taken over by TROLLS! Yes, my friends, the trolls: the scourge of Youtube, the equivalent of the Black Plague no less! They're a disease and should all be banned into the hell they spawned from like the plague rats they are! Instead, they have taken over Semper Games and made it their rallying sign and a justification for their vile activities! Are these pathetic less-than-posters true Semper Gamers? NO, NO, A MILLION TIMES NO! Be ashamed, trolls, as you took an idea and corrupted it, and soiled it, and smudged it with foul bile and mud!
I implore those who have the least bit of decency and respect for the gaming industry! Let us unite and together, create a new Semper Games! A Semper Games free of hatred and lies! A Semper Games free of Danube03 and MugiwaraNoSlime! A Semper Games free of TROLLS! We shall take back what rightfully belongs to us, and we shall smite the wicked using their own motto! The NEW SEMPER GAMES!
