Tropical Fish Guppy Tank full of Fry

Tropical Fish Guppy Tank full of Fry, the fry are between 1-10 weeks old.

    AquaticHeaven AquaticHeaven commented:

I've had a few experiences with growing baby fish of the same species in different size tanks. The tank size REALLY matters. The babies grow under-developed in tanks smaller than 30G. If you keep'em in a small tank too long they will never grow even if you upgrade them later on. It's sad and unfo...

    Fancy guppy tank.

Showing my 20 gallon long and 5 gallon hexagon tank. Wondering if the 5 is big enough for breeding. Thanks for watching!

    AquaticHeaven AquaticHeaven commented:

Perhaps you have a 55G long + a 5G hex. If it measures anywhere close to 18"x48"x13" it's definately close to 55G

    LMAO! Day 1 :-/

BTW: the plants on the very right side along the glass don't look like they belong under water. "Aquatic Plants" in petco are often terrarium plants who's roots can survive fully submerged. You may be able to grow them in a terrarium with high moisture.

NOTE: This is in a completely clean flowerpot with brand new water. Once the foam gets a little dirty there will be more restriction and the bubbles will no longer slip through. Also, I have a activated carbon cartridge that connects to the bottom half which further slows down the flow so the bub...

    (continuation of previous message below)

The bubbles will be much smaller than the ones that come out of your CO2 diffusor. I made a custom outpipe for mine that sprays at a downward angle accross the tank. You can barely see the bubbles without a magnifying glass and some of them diffuse 100% so...

@lich610 Well if you keep them pruned a little lower than me it's OK. I like to let them float around the surface so that my angelfish feels comfortable (plus I may be adding an african butterfly and an amazon leaf which will both like the cover). It will look ugly if you're forced to prune it at...

    AquaticHeaven AquaticHeaven commented:

@TheFishKeeper100 One last thing, I noticed I never mentioned how big they get. Fire eels can grow up to a meter in length and tire track eels can grow up to a yard in length (which is just under a meter). I'm not just saying 96L is too small to be an ass hole... I think your tank will literally ...

@grotesquepuppet try feeding small peices of shrimp 1st. you can buy the same shrimp you eat... if your fish doesn't like'em... make some shrimp n chips. @12GaugeLosAngeles slow heavy rounds are best for close combat... as are pistols... the reason is they don't over penetrate and they push the target back.
