Edmonton Police are warning residents to do their homework when it comes to picking an alarm company.Police spokeswoman Patricia Chalupczynska said police have received close to 75 complaints about a company that operates in Edmonton and the Better Business Bureau of Edmonton says it has been flooded with calls about a number of security companies. Better Business Bureau has received over 1,000 complaints from across North America against Utah-based APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc. that includes high-pressure sales tactics by salespeople to knocking on people's doors during late hours of the day.
