I'm split like a pomegranate into nine or ten different ethnicity. Tlingit/Tsimshian from my Grandmas ethnic heritage & English/Irish/French from Grandpas ethnic background. My father is French/ Yugoslavian has a mixture of lovely chaos. I just want to know where my Dad is from and have only seen him once. This helps in a strange way and has been hard for me to find out my Dads ethnic back ground based from only a few details. I looked up some female facial features to find that its a pain in my ass to figure this out. He decided to get out of dodge when there was a request of deportation & possible threat. I think there was so much chaos in Yugoslavian his day it made it easy for him to shove off. I have a list of Yugoslavian families from Territory of former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia. From the photo galleries I have looked into share a lot of facial features that look Montenegro. Macedonian's personality traits were expressed as wild and passionate from Yugoslavia. From what I hear sounds like they were on the upper portion of the Yugoslavia. I thought it all sounded so beautiful after learning Greece had a large influence so It made me feel a little closer to Alexander the Great and it wasn't until after I had seen a Hollywood flick. I thought that was all I had to help me fall asleep at night along with the Hollywood version of the Doors. I just missed my boys so much and found it more personal when I seen my Dads heritage. Sounds weird but it was soothing the inner beast in me.It made me feel closer to my Dad and my lost home. The music has an ambient feel and is a moving story even though both those movies got slammed i hear as not well written or produced. Those movies are not perfect yet I love them just the way they are. I only have parts of a jigsaw puzzle to try and put together. I'm only trying to find whats left of my Dad within myself.

Both his Grandsons have been separated from me and my Dad so I have lost both his Grandsons as well as my birth Father. He has picked up and moved again and I'll only be receiving his life insurance and investments at the time of his death. I'm not waiting for him to die and don't really depend on the idea of that although it made me feel loved. People usually get there inheritances swindled . I don't depend on that future. I have a good feeling my Sister is good people and hear she has at one time been Miss Arizona. I don't bring up my birth Dad because of hurt feelings from both my Mom & Sister.

I have a lost Uncle on my births Dads side of the family who had a tragic reaction to medication. They said the medication turned him unresponsive like a vegetable.
I don't think he did well with the stress of it all and might be bi-polar or have post traumatic stress.He should have never taken that pill. I think adjusting to America was the last straw. My Mom had trouble with culture shock as well and was an additional set back of her education in some ways but she had what it took to have her own business.

Lost families and children have sent me on a history back ground scavenger hunt. I found some news that my parents didn't want me to know. I was raised in a larger than life Alaskan family with no understanding of my birth father. I latter found out that Alaskan natives have Japanese not all have that integrated into there families with
migration to Alaska.

I found a very cute story on you tube of the Alaskan Tlingit Native Village. Once upon a time there was a sly young raven who was very selfish and very sneaky. He knew of three treasures that an old man kept in his home in three boxes. The first box contained the stars, the second box contained the moon and the last box contained the sun. The raven wanted these boxes so he hatched up a plan to take them away. The old man had a daughter and turned it's self into a pine needle and fell into the daughters drink and she grew pregnant. When the raven was born as the daughters baby the raven cried out for the first box until the old man gave it to him. The raven opened the the box and threw out the stars into the sky.He cried for the next box witch held the moon and once again threw the moon into the sky.. When the raven cried out for the final box once again he received it. He turned back into a raven and flew away. The towns people didn't believe the raven had the sun so to prove them wrong he opened the box and released the sun into the sky. The raven didn't like the skeptical towns people so he turned them into rocks and created new people into leaves. I found the short story very moving and am attracted to visually descriptive short stories and poems. I don't know how to explain what I'm trying to say but I found it to be pleasing to some dark place within my inner self.
