About this user
Music has always been a huge part of my life and has been somewhat of a "friend" when I needed one most...It could get right to the core of me and lift me out of myself, sometimes covering mistakes or tending to wounds...But there are places deep in the soul where music alone can not go. I don't make a habit of quoting philosophers because I think it sounds arrogant so I'll forgive myself for slaughtering this but Plato said something to the affect that the songs inside your heart can never be complete until you hear another heart whisper back to yours.... For being considered one of the greatest philosophers, I think he fell a bit short on this thought....Unless another heart shouts to you, you should consider yourself def. If all you can hear is rhythm and voice and sound and beats then your hearing is juvenile. Do you know what music tastes like when it's so bitter but somehow so sweet and you hunger for it weather it's agreeable to you or not? Do you know the color of it, can you see where the colors come together and blend and entirely new shades are present...shades you've never seen before, where there was once shadow there's now light but it's so blinding you can't look directly at it, you have to look past it to see it. Do you know what that sounds like? The shape of music is hard and fluid at the same time. Stationary but moving. Reaching out in all directions but centered and focused in one spot. Can you feel the texture of it in the pit of your stomach? The velvet sting of it piercing you from the inside? That's the music in your soul! And you can't possibly know that until another soul shouts to you. Your soul can't be touched by music until your greatest love takes it there. My husband is my greatest love. He is my hearts song, the music of my soul. The verses and chorus of life start and end with him, from the quiet and softest vibrations to the thumpings that are so loud you feel your chest will explode! Dean Fisher is my music, he is my song, He is my soul that shouted back.Country

Probably you...but more than likely one of us will be disappointed in the other.
