I was a christian for the first part of my life, when I was 10 a girl in my class asked me what religion I am, since I'd always been taught god as a fact I didn't even understand the question, after giving it some thought I realised that I had never actually been given any reason to believe in god and so I became an atheist. The great irony of this story is that I owe my liberation from the iron shackles of theism to a catholic. The odds are she isn't reading this but if she is then thank you Lisa, I wouldn't be who I am today without you... I hope you're proud of yourself!
