About this user

I am a biological anthropologist specializing in anthropological genetics. This Channel was created to promote the understanding of human genetic variation and human evolution. Also, this channel is intended to be used as a teaching and learning resource for biological anthropology.

On the YouTube, non-scientists often present personal views on human evolution, genetic variation, and racial/ethnic issues based on outdated scientific data and ideas and misunderstanding of scientific data and methods, or motivated by religious belief, political view points, and economic benefit to themselves. I tried to collect the videos that represent current scientific understandings of human variation, human evolution, and racial/ethnic issues. In some of the videos in this collection, anthropologists and geneticists present their research findings and opinions or they are involved in production of the videos.

I am hoping that you can join anthropological forum at my AnthroGenetics website, http://anthrogenetics.webs.com, where anyone can join for free and discuss various topics on anthropological genetics. Please, come join.
