Ichiban Kobayashi was born December 21,1991 in the Bronx,New York. He is Belizean (Garifuna) race. Kobayashi is related to Cherise of the R&B group "Changing Faces". In middle school he began acting and writing poems and then later began turning poems into raps. In 2006 he formed an hip-hop and R&B group in high school with 3 members and called it T.M.S,(T O N - E, Mickey, and Saiint). Within a year the trio spilt up, and T O N - E (Ichiban Kobayashi) continued to pursue writing his music, but under the stage name Secret also known as his alter ego. Later that year he began dancing on two high school dance teams L.O.S(The last ones standing) and T.U.T.(The Unwrittin Truth). In 2008 he began modeling for a short
time with a modeling agency called One Source Talent. In 2009 he became a choreographer
and formed his first dance group called Royal-T.
