Draw polygon Cut into 2n right triangles
Base =x/2. Y- length of other leg
X-length of polygon side
Each triangle inside angle = 2pi/(2n)
Tan(pi/n) =(x/2)/(y)
y= x/(2tan(pi/n))
A triangle = 1/2*b*h
= x^2/(8tan(pi/n)
2n triangles
Answer= nx^2/(4tan(pi/n))

f(x) = x2 - 6x + 8 [2; 4]
*original equation
f(2) = f(4) = 0
*functions must be equal at the two x-values
f'(x) = 2x - 6 = 0
*set first derivative to zero
*a solution for f'(x)=0 is proof DERIVATIVE IS ZERO AT SOME POINT
x = 3
*the point at which f'(x) = 0
