It isn't true lol. They need meat as well as veggies. The babies need a ratio of 80% protein and 20% veggie. The ratio switches when they become adults though. Feed an adult too much meat and they get fat. XD

All fawns do this when they're that young. It's a survival technique to lay perfectly still and let your camouflage hide you. It probably wasn't a good idea to spook the fawn. It could have been put at risk of being noticed by predators when it bleated and ran like that. Still really cool!
