Hi, my name is Anne. I'm 13 years old, and I come from Singapore, which is probably one of the smallest countries you'll ever find. It's like an island city, really. OK, that's enough facts. Some stuff about myself...

I love the colour purple, and my favourite foods are sushi and pasta. I like carbonara in particular. I love Taylor Swift and her music, and I also love Avril Lavigne. A lot of people think that's strange because they're so different, but actually their music goes very well together.

If you've noticed, I like being random. So, let me tell you some other random things. I can't concentrate on homework if there's peace and quiet. I need music to be able to focus. I have a hot temper, and can get really angry sometimes. However, I am trying to control it. I am scared of big dogs, I hate cabbage and burgers. I'm absolutely addicted to chocolate, and I can't go a day without it. Actually, I love all sugary desserts. I have a total sweet-tooth, I know. And when it comes to junk food, I know no limits. I love Cadbury and Dove chocolate.

I'm not perfect. Far from it. I seem to land into trouble pretty often, my hair doesn't stay in place, and my fashion sense isn't all that great. I have some talents, but I have some weak points too. I have never fallen in love, and to be honest, I don't want to. Sure, it's nice to have someone you're in love with, but really? For all that trouble, I'd rather not. Right now, it's just me and my good friends, no boys in the picture. And that's the way I like it-fun. And yes, I'm not perfect. I'm sure there're lots of people who dislike me out there. But, seriously? I don't really give a damn. I have people who like me, my friends, my family.... Well, I'm stubborn. Just because there're a few people who don't like me, dosn't mean I'm going to alter myself just to win their liking. Because I'm me, and I'm not conceited or self-involved, but I love and respect myself, and no one, but no one, gets to change me save myself.

For all those people out there who have decided that it's their job to hate me, well, as Avril would say," I don't really give a shit." And, heck yeah, I don't. People who don't like me think that I'm a crazy bitch. And I don't mind. I'm totally not bothered. You know why I smile? Because life is awesome-I don't care about people who I don't actually even like.

One other thing about me: I love making people laugh. It's so fun! I love telling whatever jokes, good or corny, that I know at the moment to my friends. I like to stand out in the crowd. I'll never be that quiet girl reading a book in the corner. I'll always be the loud, boisterous one making people crack up. That's me, I guess. As Taylor Swift once said," I'm intimidated of being average." I'll never want to blend into the background. I want to be a spark of light that will brighten up everyone's day.

I love my friends. They are the most reliable, friendly, helpful people ever. Even when I'm not the best friend on Earth, they will always be there for me. In times of need, they will always be there for me to lean on. They kind of remind me of umbrellas. They shield me from troubles, sorrows and worries. I'll always need them when it rains on me. :)

Most of all, I thank the people who are friendly to me, who are there for me, and who have helped me. Thank you, all of you. XD
