About this user

Anne Timms, an active social entrepreneur, comes from a training background, having worked with the Boskop Training Centre in the late 1980s, overseeing the scheduling of 85 trainers who have providing on-site training services, and training in a variety of rural communities, companies, government, Social enterprise, commercial and emerging farmers country wide, this unit later decentralized to different provinces within South Africa. She started her own company Joint Linkages in 1997 and secured a marketing contract Skills for All (est 1997), accredited AgriSETA training service provider. During her career progression Anne Timms has successfully implemented a number of multi stakeholder programmes and projects in partnership with National, Provincial and Local Government departments, partnering with Corporate Companies as well as traditional leaders and grassroots communities. Many of these projects are still operational today and she has an exceptional eye to spot talent and skills, see gaps and to unlock the potential of people living at the bottom of the pyramid. Anne has definitely shown her ability to turn the principles identified in community projects into programmes that are practical and easy to implement by people living in rural areas. She was one of the founder members of Limitless Opportunity Africa Pty Ltd in 2005. Anne attended a Social Entrepreneurship conference in Iserlohn, Germany in October 2009, hosted by Fusion International. She also completed her Social Entrepreneurship Certificate in 2009 at GIBS (University of Pta).
