The only differences between FGC and MGC are cultural and legal. Our culture (in the USA) says one is fine and the other is barbaric. And our laws protect one gender from ANY form of cutting, and has no laws regarding cutting the other gender. We need equal protection under the law, and cultur...

If you really want to make it bigger, have a subincision done.

Circumcision is a personal choice. And the person whose choice it is, is the person with the genitals possibly being cut. This is not a parental decision. His body, his choice.

Her body, her choice. If a woman wants to have parts removed for the supposed benefits, that's fine. But no forcing genital cutting on unconsenting minors.

The USA has absolutely no moral high ground here. We still routinely cut off part of the genitals of infant boys, with no medical indication.

I am for stopping ALL genital cutting of minors. They can choose for themselves when they are an adult.

No minor child should be subjected to genital cutting, boy or girl. It's one thing to evaluate the latest research and choose whether you want part of your own genitals surgically removed. I might disagree with your choice, but, hey, it's your body.

Genital cutting is genital cutting. It doesn't matter if the patient/victim is male or female. What really matters is - are they adult and consenting to the procedure?
